Experience & Education

For over 20 years, Kim has combined her traditional education in dietetics (BS, summa cum laude, Arizona State University; and MS, Texas Tech University) with integrative medicine modalities (Ph.D., Clayton College) gleaned from Ayurvedic, Kampo, Chinese Medicine, and Western botanical medicine. Her expansive, unique knowledge and experiences led to her roles as a dietary supplement industry spokesperson and consultant with Asahi Elles, EuroRSCG Magnet, Juice Plus+, Millennium Biotechnologies, and Cancer Nutrition Centers of America. She was selected to collaborate with Dr. Andrew Weil (a world-renowned pioneer in Integrative Medicine) and Dr. John LaPuma (ChefMD). Kim was also a medical consultant for Walgreens’ Health Corner Television show.

Kim earned the prestigious National Speakers Association designation and has spoken internationally about oncology nutrition and phytochemicals in plant-based medicine. Kim received the highest company award for leading a top sales team and was nominated for the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year. Kim has volunteered as a board member for TESSA and frequently advises dietitians on entrepreneurship.

Kim has been described as someone who leaves “no stone unturned” when finding credible, science-based nutrition information. She enjoys nature-based travel and brings an adventurous can-do spirit to everything she does.
